Nicknamed ‘The Tall City,‘ Midland, Texas entered the oil and gas industry in the 1920s with the discovery of oil in the Permian Basin. Today, Midland’s economy relies heavily on petroleum with one-fifth of the nation’s total petroleum and natural gas output being produced from the Permian Basin. Midland is home to the Permian Basin Petroleum Museum which displays the history, science, and technology of oil and gas development.
Downing’s Midland, Texas facility, located on South County Rd, is strategically located in the middle of the Permian Basin where we provide operators in the West Texas and New Mexico areas with frac rentals, wellhead systems, and production services. We have pressure testing capacity, service fleet and perform a variety of oilfield support services to address the ever-changing pressure control needs of our customers throughout the region.
