Nicknamed “The Oil City,” Casper is Wyoming’s second largest city located in the east-central part of the state at the foot of Casper Mountain along the North Platte River. The city boasts a long history of oil boomtown and cowboy culture dating back to the development of the nearby Salt Creek Oil Field in the late 1800s. Today, Casper continues to play a vital role in the energy industry.
Downing’s Casper, WY facility is strategically located near the Denver Julesburg (DJ), Powder and Clay Basins where we provide frac rental, wellhead systems, and production services to operators throughout the region. We have pressure testing capacity, service fleet and perform a variety of oilfield support services to address the ever-changing pressure control needs of our customers. We are a proud member of the Casper Chamber of Commerce and participate in the American Petroleum Institute (API) Chili Cook-Off every year.
